Thanks To Neal Newman

Normally, I'd send a message like this to someones private email inbox, but since I want to share what I am thankful for...this expands on one of the things I am thankful for, so I wanted to share it with everyone.

Mr. Newman, the East Coast Regional Engineering Director for Multicultural Radio Broadcasting was flying his plane from Jacksonville, Florida back to New Jersey. He needed to stop for gas. He decided to land at the Greenwood Country Airport, borrowed someones car and drove over here.

He was only here for a few hours, but it was very , very valuable time and I came away learning a few new things. Not only did Neal teach me and share some valuable knowledge with me, but he ALSO went out to my tower here at the station and helped me clear crap from the fence.. and my tower is now free and clear and any overgrowth. We were out there in the dark, in the middle of the field at 7:30 in the evening working by the headlights of the Ford Explorer sawing off tree limbs and bushes.

If Neal and I didn't absolutely love what we do, would we have been out there at 7:30pm working by the light of headlights from a truck standing in prickers sawing off tree limbs?

It is people like Neal who so graciously share their time, knowledge and expertise with me that makes me thankful and makes me feel honored to know such fine people. Neal is an exceptional engineer who is an encyclopedia of knowledge.

Just a reminder this holiday season.... think about those who really mean something to you and how they impact your life...... even the littlest incidents can make the biggest impacts.
